Moto, ATV, UTV, marine and performance. Dealers and independent service. Where the parts counter is the profit and the service board is the bottleneck.
Why powersports is its own problem
A collision shop lives on a small number of large repair orders. A powersports shop lives on a large number of small ones, in a season that does not wait. Everything about how you market and how you run the floor changes because of that.
The breakdown
It is five, and at ten tickets a day the small leaks are the whole margin. Take the machine apart and you can see them.
What you quoted against what you billed, line by line. On thin tickets a mis-bucketed line is the profit. The category is where the error hides.
Fitment, supersession, backorder. The blocker clears the moment the box is scanned, not the next time somebody walks past the rack with a clipboard.
Which tech is on what, what is waiting on a part, what goes home today. One screen, a session per person. Panels read LIVE or UNAVAILABLE, never a guess dressed up as a number.
Told what happened, when it happened, with the photo. At this volume it cannot rely on memory, so it is drafted automatically and sent by a person.
What a ticket actually cost you against what it paid, by job type and by season. The number you price next spring from.
Proof, and its limits
Being straight about this matters more than the sale. Friday, our shop operating system, is running today at a collision and RV center in Orange County. It is not deployed in a powersports shop. What follows is what is running there and which parts transfer.
Also not yet, at the shop it does run in: price entry, vehicle selection and line editing inside the estimate are still being built, so a person finishes the estimate. No real part has run the receiving rail. Running two shops on one system is designed rather than built.
What we take on
Dealers and independent service. Performance and tuning. We stay in the lanes we have actually worked in, and we will tell you when you are outside them.
Street, dirt, dealer service and independents.
Sales floors, service, accessory and build work.
Outboard and inboard service, winterization, trailers.
Tuning shops, custom builders, race support.
Where we work
Close enough to stand on your floor, which is the only way any of this works.
Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Anaheim, Huntington Beach, Orange, Fullerton.
Mission Viejo, Laguna, San Juan Capistrano, and south to San Clemente.
LA County dealers and shops.
You own everything. Every domain, every account, every login is in your name on your card. Apex takes delegate access and nothing more.
Common questions
No. It runs today in a collision and RV center in Orange County. Parts receiving, the floor board and customer updates transfer directly to a powersports floor. Estimate matching was built for insurance work and would be used differently or not at all. The first powersports deployment would be the first, and would be scoped and priced that way.
It has to. Spending the same amount in January and in April is wrong in both months. The calendar drives the plan: build demand ahead of the season, protect capacity during it, and use the quiet months for the work that compounds.
That is usually the honest diagnosis, and more marketing into a jammed service department makes it worse. Parts receiving by scan, matched to the ticket with a printed label, is the piece running today that a powersports counter would feel first.
No. Marine has a shorter season, launch and winterization work, trailers, and a customer whose weekend is the deadline. Any firm that hands a bike shop and a boat shop the same plan has worked in neither.
The client does. Every domain, every account and every login is registered in the client's name on the client's card. Apex takes delegate access. Fire Apex on a Tuesday and the business still has all of it.
Orange County, Los Angeles, and south to San Clemente.

The fastest way to understand what we build is to watch the parts rail clear a blocker, and to hear us say plainly which parts would be new work for your floor.
